As embarrassing as this is to admit, way way back in August of last year we had a going away party for my sister and her husband. They for months and months debated about going back to good ol’ Texas where he is originally from before finally decided to go for it. So before the left I decided that we should have a Texas themed backyard BBQ to send them off.

My best friend Trisha recently had a beautiful baby girl named Harper. In fact tomorrow I am taking a little trip to Arizona to meet Harper and I can’t wait! In the mean time however I thought I would share some photos from the baby shower Trisha’s sister Cheri threw her. Trisha loves and I mean LOVES “Wicked the musical” so Cheri decided to throw her a Wicked themed baby shower full of lots of fun details. Here are a few of them I snapped at the shower… enjoy!
There is nothing like being a sister! Going through these images made me think back to the days of growing up with my sister. How we went through so many phases of loving each other, hating each other, annoying each other (okay I think it was me doing most of the annoying) and now that we are adults we get to enjoy each other as friends on a whole new level. It was so much fun hanging out with these two girls who just happen to be my cousins adorable children. Kayla and Mallory I hope you girls will always remember how special it is to be sisters.
